Al-Khair University
Al-Khair University was established in 1994, under an act number XXVIII of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The Main objective for the establishment of the University in the Private Sector was to supplement the Public Sector Education, by disseminating professional, scientific and technological education in the Country. With a view, however, to keep pace with changing scenario of education globally, the main focus is in the field of Marketing, Banking & Finance, Information Technology and Computer Oriented courses.
The Higher Education Commission Islamabad vide their letter No. 16-08/HEC/A&A/2011/903 dated 17-10-2011 has allowed the Al-Khair University (AJK) to admit students in degree programs in Management Science, Computer Science, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Education and Urdu.

Main Campus:
Al-Khair University has spread all its main campuses and their faculties in major cities of Pakistan. Their faculty of Engineering and Technology has been operating in Abbottabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi and Islamabad while it’s Business and Administration faculty has been controlling the functions in Karachi, Sukkhur and Larkana.
